Patrick Shanley, Esq. (Hourly rate - $325 per hour)
Patrick Shanley is a native of Lowell, Massachusetts and was educated in the Lowell Public Schools. After three years active duty U.S. Army with tours in Europe, Texas, and Oklahoma, Attorney Shanley joined the National Guard with the Rank of Sergeant. During the next 17 years with numerous assignments and promotions, Attorney Shanley retired after 20 years as a JAG officer with the rank of Lieutenant.
Attorney Shanley graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst with a BA degree in Labor Relations. After working a few years as a manager and business owner, the next three years were devoted to Law School. Attorney Shanley graduated from Mississippi College School of Law after three years of studies. While a student, Attorney Shanley interned in a law office and for the City of Lowell.
As the law practice was beginning, Attorney Shanley used his skills and education to teach law classes at Hesser College and Daniel Webster College. Some of the classes taught included Criminal Law, Business Law and Aviation Law to name a few.
Attorney Shanley is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and New Hampshire in all courts including Federal Courts as well as the First Circuit Court of Appeals, The New Hampshire Supreme Court, and The United State Supreme Court. Attorney Shanley is also a licensed Real Estate Broker, a Property and Casualty Insurance Broker, a Notary Public, and a Commissioner of Deeds.
Publications in which Attorney Shanley has appeared include a front page article in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, stories in the Lowell Sun, and numerous mentions in the Manchester Union Ledger. In the Manchester Union ledger, for example, one article states observations during a trial “(Attorney) Shanley then played his trump card.” By utilizing my skills in that matter, I saved my client 2 1/2 years in prison.
In the past decade alone, Attorney Shanley has appeared in over 50 courts in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire as well as grand jury investigations. Attorney Shanley has represented clients before numerous administrative boards including liquor license boards, school boards, and preservation boards.
The First Circuit Court of Appeals, The New Hampshire Supreme Court, and the Massachusetts Appeals Court have had cases argued by Attorney Shanley.
